Orchards under Lovoš
The extensive complex of former orchards, pastures, and meadows on the southern and south-eastern foothills has been become overgrown since the early 1990s, when the management was stopped for economic reasons. The diverse landscape mosaic has gradually transformed into continuous vegetation cover. Among the surviving fruit trees you will find pear, apricot, sweet cherry, and sour cherry trees, but, surprisingly, also almond trees.
